Choosing the right timber is crucial for the instrument. For me as an instrument-maker, using wood cut at the right time and allowed to dry naturally is a constant source of delight.

Every single part of each new instrument is made by us in our workshop. This guarantees that the case, soundboard and keyboard of each instrument are a perfect match.

I welcome suggestions from my clients regarding any alterations they may require. Aspects such as range, transposition, profiling, colouring and the number of legs are all finalised before production begins.
